These Saltbox houses are crafted after old childrens toys from a different age.
(This is for one saltbox house.)
They come in 5 different colors: mossy colonial green, mustard yellow, whitewash white, colonial brick red, and colonial blue.
(If you would like one in another color just convo us and we can custom color your house for you.)
Salt boxes were traditionally a colonial and when more children came along a shed edition was added to the back of the colonial giving it the elongated roof with a one story back facade.
All four sides of our saltboxes are shown in the pictures.
Each one is 3 1/2"W X 3 1/2"H X 1 1/2"D
The houses are hand crafted of pine, sanded and then painted with acrylic paints in colonial colors. (I hand cut the stencils for the windows and doors.) Then I hand stencil the windows and doors in a co-ordinating color.
They are distressed and aged with a special mixed color to resemble years of childrens wear!
We can custom color a house for you, as noted above!
